LOTS International began in 1993, when a group of Master Mariner’s started offering expediting services to Ship-Owners all over the world. This is today an offshore company registered in the Jebel Ali Freezone, UAE primarily to take advantages in the emerging opportunities in the International Shipping Market.

LOTS International has a paid up Share capital of AED6,100,000 wholly held by LOTS Shipping Ltd.

Ship Ownership
The growing economies of the Persian Gulf, East Africa, South Asia and South East Asia offer tremendous opportunity for shipping. Increasing transportation requirement will spell the need for more and more tonnage to be positioned in this part of the world. To achieve this, LOTS International owns and operates two vessels on the Indian subcontinent and near coastal waters. The company has also acquired a tug and barge combination for deploying on the project work. LOTS International through its world wide network of agents and experts is able to source equipments for cargo handling and salvage from any part of the world at very competitive rates.

Port Captains
Effective Cargo Superintendence through competent Port Captains has positively impacted ship handling both at the load and discharge ports. With over twelve years of dedicated service, LOTS International has gained invaluable experience and understanding of port requirements in some difficult ports around the world.

The primary role of the Port Captain is to address and resolve problems and concerns faced by ship owners and operators at ports across the world. The clear objective is to significantly improve voyage profits for the ship owner or the operator.

Cargo Expediting by Port Captains can never be deemed complete without competent documentation procedures and a good working relationship with the major Vessel Operators across the Globe. LOTS International has successfully accomplished all this and much more. Till date, LOTS International has successfully handled over 20 different types of vessels and over 5Mn tons of cargo worldwide.

Crew Management
LOTS International supplies riding teams consisting of certified fitters and electricians to assist with onboard repairs. The company has in place independent contract agreements to also source ship’s crew through approved manning agents. LOT is ISO 9001-2000 Certified and has in operation an approved ISM and ISPS system.
